Classic, Layered Interior Design for Homes and businesses
That Deserve to Feel complete

Designing a home or professional space should feel exciting, not overwhelming; however, for many homeowners and business owners, the reality is a long list of decisions, unanswered questions, and spaces that don’t quite come together the way they might have imagined.

That’s where thoughtful design makes all the difference! I help people bring clarity and cohesion to their spaces, whether they’re building a home, renovating a room, updating a professional space, or simply trying to make a finished house feel more complete.

Through a collaborative and approachable process, I guide clients through the decisions that shape their spaces, from layout and furnishings to materials, color, and the layered details that bring a space to life.

The spaces I design feel classic, warm, layered, and lived-in,
the kind that look like they’ve been collected over time, not decorated all at once. My goal is that the finished product feels elevated, personal, and grounded, all without the overwhelm.

when clients typically reach out

• You’re building a home and want help making confident design decisions along the way.
• You’re renovating and want everything to feel cohesive from room to room.
• Your home is finished, but something still feels incomplete or unsettled.
• You’re unsure how to arrange furniture or make a space function well.
• You want a professional perspective before investing in updates or purchases.

Design guidance provides clarity when the next step isn’t obvious.

the process

1. the discovery + consultation phase

To begin, I’ll guide you through the Discovery process, which includes a thorough questionnaire that will help eliminate any guesswork down the line, and it will also serve as a guide to the Design Consultation. I’ll translate what I find in Discovery into a Design Consultation Deck, a dynamic, digital representation of your vision.

2. the design, draft,+ deliver phase

Once we gain agreement on the direction of your project, I’ll begin working on the custom, complete design of your space(s). I make it a goal to have designs ready in approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on the scope. From there, we’ll sit down to review it all (so fun!) and make any adjustments necessary.

3. The implementation phase

This is the part that can be wildly different from project to project. Need a contractor? I can make recommendations of those I trust. Have a builder already? Perfect – I can work with their team as well. Simply furnishing a space to bring more life into the room? I can coordinate that, too. The bottom line here is that I’ll be there each step of the way.

4. THE COMPLETION PHASE

You are overjoyed, I am overjoyed, we are all overjoyed and can cross the finish line together, just the way we started. Photos will be taken of your completed space that you can share with your friends and family!

5. CELEBRATE

You’ve just completed a project near and dear to you, so that means it’s time to celebrate all of your hard work and commitment. You’ve earned it!

6. ENJOY

My favorite (really, all of the phases are my favorite) part – you get to ENJOY the space you’ve been thinking about all of this time with those you love the most. After all, that’s what good design is about – facilitating the type of environment that makes you feel at ease, at home, and comfortable.

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE

I couldn’t be happier with this whole process. It was so easy, fast, and I love the design board she made for my daughter’s room. Her attention to detail is amazing and Kristin definitely understood the assignment. Highly recommend!

10/10

From start to finish, the process was seamless. I enjoy being able to meet with my clients in a nice, professional office space that reflects my personality. I knew what I wanted but needed help with ideas, and Kristin delivered.

Five stars

As the construction guy, it is very valuable having someone on the design side who can and will provide all of the details up front with visuals so everybody understands what the end result should be. I love it.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m an interior designer based in Southeast Texas, working with both homeowners and businesses who want their spaces to feel more cohesive, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together.

Most of the people I work with aren’t starting from scratch. A lot of times, they already have a space with potential. Sometimes it’s a homeowner building or renovating and facing a long list of decisions. Other times it’s a business owner who wants their office or workspace to feel more welcoming, polished, and aligned with how they serve their clients.

What they usually have in common is this: something about the space isn’t quite working yet, and that’s where I come in.

One of my strengths as a designer is listening closely and understanding how people actually live and work in their spaces. From there, I’m able to see the bigger picture: how rooms should function, how elements should work together, and how the right details can bring a space into balance.

My approach is thoughtful and collaborative. I guide clients through decisions about layout, materials, color, furnishings, and the layered details that bring a space to life. My aesthetic leans classic, layered, and refined, the types of spaces that feel timeless rather than trendy, welcoming rather than overdesigned.

At the heart of my work is helping people make sense of their spaces. When the right decisions come together, the result isn’t just a beautiful room. More than that, it’s a home or workplace that feels natural, functional, and truly reflective of the people who use it every day.
